About Darjeeling and Kalimpong CSC
Darjeeling (CSC) Campus Students’ Connection formally known as CSF (Christian Student’s Fellowship) was planted in the beautiful hill of Darjeeling in the year 2000. It was by then the confluence of the three major colleges of Darjeeling viz. St. Joseph’s College, Loreto College and Darjeeling Govt. College. This connection was established for the students in the colleges to provide them with opportunities to share their faith and the love of The Christ amongst their college friends. The connection is an open door for every faith and denomination background students providing them the platform for various other fields like learning leadership qualities, music, etc other than just the gospel.
Presently the connection has an activity centre below Bhanugram Post office about 3 minutes walk (left hand side) from Singtam Fatak. The centre is now enriched with good infrastructure, library, music, etc an ideal for every students who becomes the member of the connection. Powerful positive LIFE NET members are also continually aiding the connection every way possible for the junior leaders to grow and serve the Lord to the fullest. Now colleges like Goom degree college, Kalimpong Govt. College and Clunny women’s College are also involved. Another branch of the connection is present in Kalimpong too with the same richness as Darjeeling CSC. At the present we do not have staffs in Kalimpong and is under guidance of the staffs in Darjeeling.
From the birth of this connection till present it has always been in the constant guide of ICCC staffs. Mr. Tashi Wangdi Bhutia, Mrs. Sima Bhutia, Mr. Sagar Ghishing, Mrs Purnima Ghishing, Amir Gurung and presently Mr. Kismat Rai and Mrs. Pramita Rai.
We have our regular fellowship every Saturday at 1:00pm for Darjeeling CSC (address mentioned above) and at Saturday 9:00am for Kalimpong CSC (Address mentioned above).
