This time we had a little diffrent type of fellowship pattern because we had a guest speaker from USA Mr. Bone. He is a pastor of his chucrch back there in his place and he has been out of the country doing outreach programs for the expension of Kingdom of God. We had the fellowship very entertaining and we were blessed to hear out guest speaker speak. We had a blessed time interacting with him after the felllowship.

Prayer Seminar

We the Darjeeling C.S.C team are having a Prayer Seminar at our activity center today and tomorrow. The seminar is lead by the staffs of Darjeeling itself and the seminar is teamed about how to pray effectively. With students from our fellowship the seminar went blessed today.

Basic Training

We are having our Basic Training with our new student members here in Darjeeling. This time too we are doing our training here in our actvity center, with teacher even some of our old student members and Life-Net members.

We have presently 10 student members for the basic training and we all are having great time with the training. We started having this training from today 10th and we have till tomorrow 11th, our training will be over by 2pm tmorrow and after that we have field training.

Be ask all of your prayer support in this training so that we will be able to train all our student leaders well and help serve the Lord in all ways.

Bad News

One of our Darjeeling C.S.C team member Mr. Robat met with an accident day before yesterday when he was returning from the porgram "Friends Forever" he was hit by a bike from behind at around 6pm near Loreto Convernt. The biker happens to be a school student who was riding in the wrong side and he was agreed to fininance the injury because it seems our brother has a facture but it is still not conformed for he will have X-ray today. Please od pray for his speedy recovery.

Friends Forever

We had our freshers program today in Sacred Heart Church, we had a blessed program. We had many student audience, we had our speaker Rev. Amar from A.G Church. With his encouraging words we had wonderful feed back from the students. This time's theme for for the program was "Friend who is Forever". Our MC was Mr. Abishek Rai and Miss Mahima Rai.

We had special numbers from Kalimpong team and Jorbunglow team. Kalimpong team had hired one cab and they were about 15 members who were present and from Jorbunglow there were about 8 members. After the program we had love feast and all the guest team departed for their respective places.

With the team work of our staffs, Lifenet members (those near and far) we had a blessed freshers meet this time too.

final Practise

Today for the last time our team did the practise for the last time.....with final touch. After the practise we had meeting as of what who will be taking certain responsiblity for various task for the program this Saturday. We were very exicted to see our team members all very zealous for the program and givin their best in. Since today was holiday and all the colleges were closed our C.S.C team members were all in the activity center from morning 9 Am till eveing 7 PM working with the program tasks.

Kalimpong CSC

Well Kalimpong CSC have been doing great ministry for a long time and we all are very glad to have them as our team as a whole. recently they have organized football match for the fund raising program for the freshers over there in Kalimpong. They also had kept stalls for the same purpose. Since we the Darjeeling team is going to have the fershers program earlier then them so we have invited Kalimpng team for the program with a item from there side too. We all are very excited for the day...........3rd September.

Full swing

Our team is right now in full swing of practise for the freshers meet "Friends Forever". Our student leaders are all very exicted that they are there for the practise even on Sunday after the regular service. Life-net members also there to to help them out with the practise. With songs, music, skits and dances we are going to have grand Freshers this time. Since we have only 6 six day now for the program we are all in full swing for the practise......

New Venture

It was long time back that Darjeeling team had started Student Fellowship in Jorebunglow but due to lack of committed student in Ghoom Jorebunglow Degree College we were not able to grow the Student Movement. After long prayers and vision sharing we now have re ingated the Student Fellowship in Ghoom Degree College. We have very potential students like Tashi Bhutia, Joti Rai and many more who are taking very active initiative for building the movement there among the college students. We the Darjeeling CSC team would really like to appreciate their zeal and commitment in building this movement. We would also like to appreciate and thank the student leaders, staffs and Life-Net members who has been a part in this motivations.

We had more than 30 students in the last fellowship and yesterday we still had the same strength. We hope the student movement in Jorebunglow will boom to blessing in the coming years for sure. Please do uphold us in your daily prayers for we still have other colleges like Kurseong College, Selisian College, etc. Without your prayer supports and God grace we cannot do it. Remember even if you are far away as Life-net members you are still a part of our minister y......we hope to remain so for eternity.

Meeting

We the student team, Staffs and the Life-Net members gathered together for a general meeting. The meeting came up to be very fruitful as many of us discussed about the things that was a hindrance to the movement. We pray and hope to stay as blessed team, We are grateful for all the members in the meeting in making the meeting a blessed one. We would like to convey the message to all the Life-Net members that our movement here in Darjeeling is booming and we continually pray that uphold us in your prayer. Especially for the forth coming program that we are having on 3rd September. Its "Friends forever" a freshers' program. May this program out come to be blessed one.

Busy team

We the Darjeeling Team have been quite busy for last few weeks and will be till september 3 because we are preparing for the freshers program we have on 3rd September. All the student team are busy with the preactises. We are having our regular practises every day after classes in the college. We ask for your prayer supports and wishes as we battle in this spiritual fight for the Lord.

Meeting

Today all the  xecutive members and life net members gathered in our staff Mr. Kismat  Rai's house for the discussion for the date of the program "Friends for Ever  II". Since the hall (Sacred Heart Church)got canceled because of some unavoidable event that came up for the church. So we went and searched for other halls but all other halls in Darjeeling are booked and some that are not booked are under construction so we had to my no means postpone the day for the program. As of now for we have decided to do on 3rd of September (Sacred Heart Church).

We had our regular fellowship with our new member Miss. Christina leading the fellowship and Mr. Millan Gurung in worship.Wehad the word of God from sister Amina. We all had blessed time as we shared excitements and blessings.

Whole Night Prayer-Friends Forever II

We  had our whole night prayer yesterday in our activity center for  boys and at our staff Mr. Kismat's place  for the girls. We were in about 10 boys student leaders including our staff Mr. Kismat Rai and about 6 girl student leaders including Mrs. Pramita Rai.

We had organized  this whole night prayer for the our upcoming fresher's program "FRIENDS FOREVER II" which is on 27th August. We had a blessed time as we gathered and prayed as one heart. We had message from our life-net member Ccir Gurung and praise, worship lead by Mr. Abishek Rai and conduct lead by Mr.Sabit Thapa and  Mr. Millian Gurung.

After about 5-6 hours of prayer we all went to bed. We really had a blessed time.

Saturday Fellowship 30th July

To we had our fellowhip conducted by Mr. Hemant Rizal, Worship by Ellina Subba and Word of God by Mr. Kismat Rai. Today we also had  our new staff Mr. Bishal Rongong, He officially joined our Darjeeling team today. Unfortunately his wife could not attend the fellowhip because she got sick.






We have our whole night prayer for the up comming our freshers program this coming 27th "FRIENDS FOREVER II". We have already booked Secred Heart Church for the program and  the speaker is yet to be conformed.

We are starting your practises from dayafter tomorrow that if from Monday. Letter distribution to all our ministry partners are almost complete.

As we gather for the meeting after the fellowship we discussed about the timings for the chain prayers starting from Monday.

Graduating Students' Meet

We had Graduating Students' Meet here in Darjeeling on 8th and 9th of July. Graduating students from various team like Sikkim, Shillong, Manipur and Guwathi had come along with their staffs. We were in total 25 + students. We had a wonderful time with the teams from different states of North East. At the last moment we had to shift our venue to Union Church because of some event that came up in the Worship Center which was our actual venue. So with some rush and help from the team we managed to shift the whole arrangements to the other venue, but then we had to start our program 2 hours late then the scheduled time. Still we had not much problem with the timing.

We had Mr. Damodar Sharma as our Speaker and we had meetings where we discussed in future plans of each students in serving the Lord. The various ways by which they can be part of this student movement even as a Life-Net members. The staffs present were: Mr. Pradeep Pradhan and Mrs. Pradeep from Sikkim Team, Mr. Nabin from Gwathi, Mr. Sangam from Shillong Team, Mr. Sagar Ghishing from Siliguri Team, Mr. Kismat and Mrs. Kismat from Darjeeling Team and Staff from Manipur team was also present.

With lots of funs, outings, actions songs and many more we all had a blessed time. All the guest teams and staffs left Darjeeling today 10th July. We miss them all a lot.

Practise

We are having practice for the Graduating Students' meet, some few songs and action songs. Our Music Coordinator Mr. Sabit Thaps is giving his best for the team in guiding and teaching though he is having his exams. Almost all the students are having their exams but still they are managing to come for the practice only for the Lord.

Saturday Fellowship 2nd July

We had our regular Saturday Fellowship today. The Word of God was bought by Mr. Sisir Gurung, Conducted by Mr. Millan Gurung and the Worship was led by Mr. Akash Sonar. We had many new visitors present in the fellowship, and sharing faith with them was a great time. Mr. Abishek Rai shared his life and family testimony with the team as an encouragement to the new believers in the fellowship.

The word of God was about "Priority for the God", we had a blessed time listening to the speaker. We had  our team leader Mr. Kismat Rai and his family in the fellowship too.

After the fellowship we all stayed for the meeting for the coming "Graduating Student's Meet" i.e. on 8th and 9th July here in Darjeeling. Since we are the host team we will be taking most of the responsibilities for the program so we distributed the jobs among ourselves and planned for the day.

From tomorrow we'll be having short practices for the praise and worship in the Activity Center.

A Good news

As always this time too we are having graduating student's meet. This is a get together of  all the graduating students of all the CSC student leaders from all the North East  region. Last year we had in Shillong but this time we are having  here in Darjeeling.

Now this a good news  and a headache for Darjeeling CSC team because this means we have  to host the program and that includes lots of labor and time. In all it will surely be a blessed time together with other teams. We the Darjeeling team are anticipating eagerly for the day.

The meet is due next month i.e.July.

Well this is good news to those who are far away from us and those who misses listening to Nepali, Hindi, English and  any other gospel songs. In reply to the request made my one of our Life-Net member who is presently in Bombay we have made listening to music available in this blog. You can very easily without any complication listen to the music you may have long wished to hear.

He asked me to like hearing Hyssop's music so I have uploaded few of it, which mean even you can give me the names of your favorite music...... English, Hindi and Nepali gospel songs....I can upload it for you. So that you can access the site and listen to it anytime you want.

The steps to listen to the music is very simple just follow the steps given below.

1. Go to the blue pop up bar that appears just above your task bar when the Home page loads. (if not look at the bottom of the page)
2. Click the link "click to play all audio post"

3. After few seconds the song starts to buffer then you can listen to it.

If you want to choose which song you want to play then you can click the playlist button at the right hand side of the same bar. As given in the figure below.

Love Feast cum Farewell Party 2011

We had our Love feast cum Farewell party today in the activity center here in Darjeeling. There were more than twenty students present including Life-Net members and staffs.

Today we bid adieu to our two very active and dedicated student leaders who had contributed a great deal to Darjeeling CSC. Mr. Harun Thakuri and Mr. Pawan Thapa, would be leaving us very soon as they are getting graduate this year from their colleges. Their efforts and contributions to Darjeeling CSC can never be compared as they were very much down into serving the lord and faithful in the movement that we are in. Mr. Harun Thakuri who is from Bhutan will be leaving for Bhutan very soon and as of Mr. Pawan Thapa he is planning to leave Darjeeling for further studies.

Though we bid them bye from the student connection we on the other hand well come them to Darjeeling CSC Life-Net. They are equally excited as they are now a Life-Net members.

Being farewelled from CSC doesn't mean they are not a part of us anymore but they are still our family members as we remain connected as Life-Net members again serving the great Lord through the movement.

We are very thankful to our Lord God Almighty who had blessed us with such dedicated members and we thank Lord for their part with us and pray for their brighter and blessed future.

Video show

We had our long demand of our student leader's dream come true today. For a change today we did not have our regular format of our fellowship. We had organized a video show in CSC room, we watched "Passion of The Christ" one of the best Christian movie of the. We had the room made all dark covering all the windows and we projected the video to one of the wall. We started with prayer and with short prayer and worship we jumped for the movie show, but then after all was set the electricity went off. So it was a faith stretching moment for our team as we all prayed in mass and claimed His name because we cannot just let our friends go back with regrets. After about 30 mins of intense prayer God did answered our prayer. I was a really a blessed time.....we praised him, gave thanks and entered into the video show.

We all had great time in our small theater as we had invited many new friends and believers to the show many of them were blessed with the movie as they shared their blessing with the team members. We had refreshment time and it seemed like we just had Inox in our small activity center.

If you have time

Today 16th of June it is the birthday of two of our members, Miss Rachel and Mr. Amar deep Rana. We wish them all the blessing and happiness ahead in life.

Our Team leader and staff Mr. Kismat Rai is under going a tumor operation at Planters Hospital ( Darjeeling ) day after tomorrow....we request your remembrance in prayer for the successful operation. I doesn't seem that serious a matter though but we still ask for your prayer support for him.

Marriage Party

Today we the Darjeeling CSC family went to attend the wedding party of our staffs Mr. Sudeep and Mrs. Sheela. The party was held in one of the hall in Ghoom ( Walung Kiduk Hall)





There were about 10 of our CSC members with our staffs Mr. and Mrs. Kistmat. Many of our interested members could not attend the party because of their exams at hand, but we did bring their presence and blessings with us to the couple in prayers and smiles. We got to meet many other staffs like Mr. Tashi Wangdi Bhutia, Mrs. Seema Bhutia, Mr and Mrs. Phurba, Mr. Damodar Sharma and family and many more. We all had a great feasting after the wishing and photo session.

We the team wished them a happy and Blessed married life ahead.

After the wedding party we the Darjeeling team had to go to meet the Kolkota Student connection's team at Chowrasta (they arrived yesterday to Darjeeling) where they shared Christ with the people. After a wonderful interaction time with the guest team we the Darjeeling CSC family returned back to our respective places.

By the way this is the third time this year our team has been hosting other guest teams in Darjeeling, seems like we are blessed our may be we are too good at serving other!!!!

Combined Fellowship

Today for the first time we had a combined fellowship with the team from Bangalore, There were in total 15 in number who had come to visit Darjeeling along with their staffs. They were escorted by our NE staffs Mr. Sagar Ghishing (former Darjeeling ICCC staff)and Mr. Vishal Rongong

.

We really had a blessed time with them as we shared our testimonies, and time together. We had the guest team perform some new songs and actions songs for us and all in all we were all very blessed. We had the word of God from their Staff Mr. P.D Joseph, the worship was lead by our LIFE-NET member Mr. Joseph Chettry and Conduct by our MC Mr. Pawan Thapa.




After a light refreshment and lot of memorable interactions we all departed as the team members prayed for each other in exchange. We the host team even presented them with a small postcard to each guest team members as a souvenir of remembrance.



We the Darjeeling CSC team are very blessed to have them here and we surely do miss them all.

And we would also like to thank our two escort staffs for bringing the whole team to Darjeeling and meeting them with us.

Presently almost all the student leaders of Darjeeling and Kalimpong CSC are having Exam, please do remember all of them in your prayers. Some of them have already started the exam and some of them are preparing for the exam.

Saturday Fellowship 21st May

Today's fellowship was one of those once in a blue moon fellowship, the reason behind that is because after very long time we had many old members and staffs in the fellowship. We had Mr. Tashi Wangdi Bhutia and Mrs. Seema Bhutia as our guest, as our fellowship conductor addressed them as "The Pillar" of Darjeeling CSC, we really enjoyed their company in the Connection. We were very pleased to have them in the fellowship after really long time. Mr. Tashi Wangdi Bhutia delivered the Word of God, Praise and Worship was lead by Mr. Harun Tahkuri.

We also had brother Amir Gurung who recently completed his GCTC, who is also a product of Darjeeling CSC. We had a small excitement sharing from him and we also had Mr. Joseph Chettri one of our Life-Net member with us. We had a special song from his side as he was once our Darjeeling CSC Music Coordinator, we really were very excited to hear his sweet voice after a long time. Our Team leader and staff Mr. Kistmat, Mrs. Pramita Rai and their beautiful child was also there with us.

With all the old members present with us it brought back all the old memories back to our connection. We all really had blessed time as they took time to share about their time in serving Lord through Darjeeling CSC.
